Pulls to one side under braking

Steering wheel tugs left or right when you apply the brakes.

Pull = uneven friction. Most often a sticking caliper piston, contaminated pad, or a collapsed flex hose acting as a one-way valve.

What the diagnosis checks

  1. After driving, is one front wheel hotter than the other to the touch?
  2. With wheels off the ground, does the hot side spin freely after braking?

Possible causes it points to

  • Collapsed brake flex hose
  • Sticking caliper piston
  • Pad contamination or alignment
